In all, I just want to be this warm light that shines over everyone I love.
Your grandmother's last hug, the baby toes you smell, first and last dances and stolen glances, all in the palm of our hands. We aren't just talented or good with color and angles. Nor do we want your arm or your leg. We do however love your memories and we want to capture that in the most magically way. Because a photo can never do the moment justice - but you better believe we get as close as possible. Encapsulating those feelings so you can relive those memories forever because you matter to us and so does your grandmother's last hug.
It's so important to find a photographer whose work you love but I think it's more important to find a photographer who you resonate with, someone you can connect with. Someone who listens to you and can capture you in the most real way as possible. After-all the best moments in life are those shy giggles, sly booty grabs, Those are the moments I live for. Some other things I live for : Netflix on a Sunday, summer in Milwaukee, pizza farms ( look it up - you'll fall in love ), freshly made popcorn (with jalapeños), fireflies, and teaching my little brother new bad words and how to use a camera.
If you're reading this and have gotten this far, you might be considering me as your photographer, What a honor! I don't want this to feel like a to-do task. Your wedding should fun and planning it should be too! I aspire to your friend first, photographer second.
Just trying to experience life and humanity and photograph it along the way. I capture the natural moments that happen throughout your day to show the connection between you and those you love. Most importantly I want to capture you just being. Life is full of little moments. It's the stares that last a little bit long but still are not long enough. It's the uncontrollable laugher where your tummy starts to hurt. It's the happy tears when you see your life partner walk down the aisle or the sad tears from your father who is gripping your arm. It's the off beat, two left feet dancing. And your photos should be a reflection of all that, of life's smallest yet most valuable moments.
Ok ok ok, yes I avidly play Catan with my frans most weekends. And yes, I can and I have binge watched the entire series of Haunting on Hill House in one night. And yes, I will only take chocolate chip cookies slightly undercooked and my doggo, Hazel also loves undercooked cookies (wonder where she got that from). I have the terrible habit of calling everyone "bb" and using exclamations points - and sometimes both at the same time!! I spend my weekends exploring new places, eating cannolis, playing board games. forcing my pittie to cuddle, and buying home decor that I don't need. That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favorite things. I was born and raised in the insanely gorgeous desert of Tucson, Arizona. It's a little-big town. Kinda weird to explain but basically anywhere you go you'll probably bump into someone you know and we have a population of 500k?! My little-big town is full of crazy dynamic scenery and culture which is why I appreciate traveling so so much. I have Tucson to thank you for this travel bug. I am constantly wanting to explore different cultures and I have a fondness for learning about new people. My passion for storytelling comes from being surrounded by creative and unique individuals and I find it so beautiful that no matter who you are, we all have a story to tell and you deserve for someone to tell your story the right way. So let's do this bb!!!
Xoxo, Bri
I fall in love with the little things,
the ways your eyes light up, when you see her walk down the aisle;
your cheesy smile right before you kiss;
your intense gestures, when you talk about why you love each other so much;
the way you throw your head back, when you can't stop laughing;
the way you squint your eyes , when you really can't stop laughing;
the little love squish, when your faces get a little too close
all the little moments with big feelings; to love recklessly and unconditionally
I know I keep bringing it up, but it's so important to feel a connection with your photographer. Your wedding shouldn't be difficult nor should planning it. I'm here to help! If you are just looking for a photographer within your budget, we may not be a right match. Turns out, I create my best work with couples who I consider as friends. With couples that look at my photos and feel something rather than just "seeing" something.
I'm not going to pose you in front of a sunset (although I can do that) with cheesy prompts. Instead your photos should be one big adventure of us chasing light, gut-busting laughs and unplanned happy moments. I am all about breaking traditions! Want to elope in rolling green hills? Camp at the Grand Canyon? Go hiking in Zion? Have a slow Sunday in the city bar hopping in your wedding dress? HECK YA! You name it. Do want you want, where you want, with who you want. I want encapsulate your goofy, wild, drunk in-love moments in photos that fit your love story. Photos that will be passed down for generations. Lets document your love story YOUR way.
All my photos are different and my style could change depending on your love story. Everyones story is different and the photos I take are a mere reflection of who you are.
I hate getting my photo taken. I feel awkward and uncomfortable. But all those worries faded the second we started shooting. She's so easy to work with and makes you feel so comfy and natural.
Not only is she an amazing photographer but she has truly become a good friend. We will be seeking her services for all of life's big moments and more.
I'm literally obsessed with her! She is so amazing at taking photos, DUH. But she is also so fun to be around. She knows what she doing and her prices are fantastic for the quality of photos you're getting.
I mean.. You is aight. Can't have all 5 stars... JK
